Lactation Services:

Martha Suronen, IBCLC, RLC, ICCE is our onsite Lactation Consultant helping mother and baby to find success in their breastfeeding relationship. Personal guidance in our lactation center or in home upon request. 

Why choose a Lactation Consultant? Being a new parent comes with lots of challenges as a parent you may need help while your infant learns to breastfeed.  Lactation Consultants specialize in the feeding of your baby and the care of your breast while feeding. In choosing a board certified and registed Lactation Consultant (IBLCLC, RLC)  you can be assured that your receive competent and compassionate care from a highly trained professional. The IBCLC, RLC certification is Internationally recognized to identify the accomplishments, training and committment  IBCLC's utilize while helping families provide breastmilk to their children. 

• Martha offers a weekly FREE drop-in support group every Tuesday at 1:30 - 2:30, it is the perfect place to get support for feeding your baby, weigh baby, ask questions, and meet with other mama's that are going throught the same things you are.

• Initial or Extensive (90 minutes)
• Focused (60 minutes)
• LATCH Assessment and Workshop (30 minutes)
• Return to work planning
• Care for flat or inverted nipples, pain of breast or nipple
• Extended nursing and weaning
• Low milk supply/poor weight gain in infants
